Dhanush film Jagame Thandhiram will start streaming on Netflix from this date

Dhanush-starrer Jagme Thandhiram will be released on Netflix on June 18, to be announced on Tuesday evening. Sharing a new poster of the film in which Smiling Dhanush is seen playing the game, Netflix wrote, “Suruli Oda Agatha Paka Nanga Ready! Nenga ready eh? #JagameThandhiram is coming on June 18 (sic). “

Jagmeet Thandhiram is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The filmmaker has previously worked with Dhanush’s father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth in the 2019 release PETA.

According to the makers, Dhanush is playing the role of a ‘nomadic gangster’ named Suruli in the film. Suruli will face a dilemma when he has to choose between good and evil.

Jagme Thandhiram also stars Aishwarya Laxmi, Kaliarayasan, Joju George and James Cosmo, making their debut in the Indian film industry with the film.

Jagme Thandhiram’s release is awaited not only by Dhanush’s fans but also by director Karthik Subbaraj himself, who has called the film his ‘dream film’. “Jagme Thandhiram is my dream film created through a locally rooted character with the ambition to tell an entertaining story about a globally prevalent issue in the most interesting and entertaining way. Audiences will nonetheless see Dhanush bring his immense talent and entertainment to the table in 190 countries on Netflix. Produced by YNOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment, Jagme Thandiram will be available worldwide on Netflix on June 18, ”the director said in a statement.
