DC FanDome Announces October Return for 2nd Annual Virtual Event

Mark your fans, DC fans are returning this October as DC FanDome. The announcement came after a very successful event last year, the first by Warner Bros. In the absence of San Diego Comic-Con, the studio took matters into its own hands. Now, it looks like it is poised to become an annual tradition. And, if it is like last year’s event, all the panels, announcements and entertainment can be enjoyed from the comfort of home.

The second DC Fandom event will take place on Saturday, October 16. “Mark your calendars, DC fans. Request a day’s work if necessary. Do everything you need to do to join us on 16 October 2021 because you’re not. Want to miss it, “DC said in its announcement. No further information was revealed at this time. A brief teaser was released along with the announcement, which was based on the iconic Superman theme music. In addition, it should be seen what DC has planned for the second installment. But with quite a few DC projects coming down the pipeline over the next few years, it could prove to be a huge day for fans.

Unlike most conferences, which are expensive, require travel and do not broadcast large disclosures online, DC FanDome is free and accessible to all online. The schedule was filled with panels covering comics, video games, movies, TV, and more. Large trailers were dropped. The news was shared. And all of this was immediately made available online. It made a big splash online, as DC says the event garnered more than 22 million views in more than 220 counties. And that too does not account for the millions of people who have seen the trailer for the films Batman Or like sports Suicide Squad: Kill Justice League.

The announcement of a second incident, however, raises some questions. San Diego Comic-Con is expected to return to in-person events later this year, with a thank-you schedule scheduled for the event. If Warner Bros. continues with the DC FanDome, it could mean that DC assets will have a much smaller presence at SDCC and other conferences in the future. It also could pave the way for Disney to start a miracle-centric conference, whether online or in-person. The Marvel brand is certainly strong enough to sustain this and Disney already has Star Wars celebrations, as well as D23, in rotation. Again, such a move would hurt the SDCC and other opposition.

As far as possible, this project will be included in this program, Batman, Black man, Flash, Wonder Woman 3, Aquaman 2 And Shazam: Fury of the Gods All are on the way. On the TV side, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, Titans and more are happening on HBO Max, as well as The Arrowverse is still going strong on The Arrow. Video games like Gotham Nights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League also seem like safe bets. Not to mention any surprise announcements happening in the store. We will make sure you are posted further, as any further details will be provided. This news comes to us via DCComics.com.
