If you were not allowed to sit at work, would you work more? obviously, theory Film director Christopher Nolan believes the chairs encourage an unproductive film set, according to actor Annie Hathaway, who worked with Nolan on the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.

Hathaway told Variety on Monday, “Chris doesn’t even allow chairs … and if you have chairs, people will sit, and if they’re sitting, they’re not working.” “He has these incredible films in terms of scope and ambition and technical prowess and emotion. It always comes under schedule and at the end of the budget. I think he’s doing something with the chair thing.”

Nolan’s bizarre anti-regime did not sit right with fans who took to Twitter with their hilarious reactions.

Bill Corbett, author and actor of Mystery Science Theater 3000, suggested a chair prank for Nolan.

Other fans suggested that the musical chair and restaurant seating could be a net shock to Nolan.

Nolan has yet to publicly say anything about his unusual no-chair rule, but it should work among his favorites considering all the nominations and awards he has earned for his previous films.

Fans will have to wait to see how much their characters sit inside them. The latest film Tenet, which hits theaters on August 12.
