Today, Burberry is opening its Animal Kingdom pop-up store at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver, Canada.
Largely due to the sculptures of monkeys and birds of paradise, the pop-up aims to welcome customers to the world of Barbary and has a long standing relationship with the animal kingdom. Since its birth, the brand has been symbolized by a knight’s emblem on the horse (a choice made by founder Thomas Burberry) – a code that current chief creative officer Ricardo Tisci joined back home in March of 2018 Made it.
Recently, Tisci brought the Animal Kingdom theme to life in the brand’s first bag campaign featuring Bella Hadid, which turned into a panther for the shoot. In one release, the designer stated, “Animals were always a creative passion and a signature of mine,” so it is fitting that he bring this vision to the store for life.
The pop-up will feature some of the brand’s signature products, each featuring limited edition styles. The brand’s latest handbags will be offered in silhouettes, pocket bags, medium size canvas with black, navy and dark green leather trim, in mini sizes in canvas with orange and pink accents, and monogram-frock colors including yellow In pairs and blue, red and blue, yellow and orange and green and charcoal. The TB bag, inspired by Thomas Burbury, will be available in a variety of exclusive new colorways, including smooth navy leather (in medium) and crimson and pecans (in small). Textural varieties of bags (such as quilted monogram leather, woven leather, and two-tone canvas) will also feature exclusive colors.
In addition to offering its own bag (which also includes Robin and his bucket bag), Pop-Up is also home to a line-up of exclusive silk scarves, jewelery, leather AirPods cases, crossbody leather phone cases and compact card cases. Will be .
