Excerpts from the conversation ..

More than four months in the house, and you have this trophy in your hand. What does it look like?

It is a long journey of 143 days, and it was worth every effort, struggle and failure I faced in my home.

In an early episode, you mentioned how you wanted all the rules to be explained to you in a way that it does for a four-year-old child. When did you realize that you could actually win?

Honestly, there was always a desire to win but this game is about luck. Therefore, I left it to fate but continued to make my journey. I really had no clue about the game, but the feeling of learning has always been ingrained in me. I wanted to live with that feeling, and move forward. I was not worried about losing or winning, I wanted to live and love my journey.

You have fought with most of the contestants in the house. Who influenced you on a personal note?

With Jasmine Bhasin and Rakhi Sawant. I have always been selective about the people who enter my life. I am a person who gives me every ounce to embrace. And when you do this, and your love and respect is not mutual, it shatters trust and trust in the relationship. These two people, events and events hit me very hard. However, I started my journey on the show with a clean slate, and I am making out again with a clean one. Therefore, I have no complaints.

You talked about the issues in your marriage on national television, and also sought help when you were mentally pushed. Was it difficult to open up about your vulnerability?

This was very difficult because there was always fear of rejection and criticism and justice. The objection part is something that always lags behind not accepting your flaws and mistakes. The most beautiful learning in my Big Boss journey is to embrace all the shortcomings with grace. When you are able to do this, your weakness becomes your strength. And if you overcome it, put it on TV and can inspire a life too, I think it is worth dealing with all challenges.

So what was the most challenging experience for you on the show?

There were many, but one in particular was the time when I could not explain my position to my husband Abhinav Shukla. Bringing your intimate relationships into the public domain and still not expressing yourself freely can really suffocate you. It was very difficult for me, as I wanted him to understand it but cannot say it in words.

Abhinav shared in an interview given to us that the best thing for him in Bigg Boss was that he strengthened his relationship with you. Now that you have a winning trophy, the win feels more special.

For me, my relationship is the most precious thing, and thus achieving it was even more special. This (showing his trophy) I do not accept it, but I have always believed that success is about professional and personal life together. And now, towards the end of the journey, I can probably say that I will be able to achieve it.

A superiority complex, authoritative, manipulative and suffering from a hypocrite – you are called all this. Any explanation you want to give?

These false accusations only strengthened my resolve to move forward and move forward. He didn’t realize it, but he was really the one who inspired me to do better. His charges became a provocation to work towards reaching my destination. It also gave me the strength to move forward.

Salman Khan was seen scolding you every weekend. Did this affect your confidence anywhere?

It was in its early stages, but then I started looking at it afresh. I took each of his reactions as a way to improve my game, and each criticism as a way to push myself forward. For me it was a lesson to be learned.

Many called it a ‘predicted victory’. What do you think or what led to your victory?

Only my fans. As I have always said, the existence and identity of an artist is only due to the audience. I have this trophy in my hand because I have these million people who have unwavering faith and love in me. And this victory is due to them only.

The finale of Bigg Boss 14 also featured Ellie Goni, Rakhi Sawant and Nikki Tamboli.
