TechnologyOne, an Australian SaaS venture, has agreed to acquire UK-based higher education software provider Scientia for £12 million / $16.6 million in cash.
TechnologyOne claims 75% of higher education institutions in Australia using its software, while Scientia claims a 50% market share in the UK.
The acquisition consists of an initial payment of £6m plus further payments.

Complete a program in the full student experience.” Being able to integrate is very important, and is an exciting step for universities – such as Swinburne – that use TechnologyOne’s student management system.
