Do you have what it takes to become a Startup Battlefield Champion? All you need is a killer pitch, an MVP, a vein of steel and drive and a determination to take all the comers to claim the coveted Comerte Cup.

If you fit the description, apply to compete in the startup Battlefield at TC Discharge 2021 on September 21–23.

The top early-stage startups around the world – from any country and industry – will compete for a shot at $ 100,000 in equity-free prize money. It promotes a large fold-line, and also comes with global exposure, massive media attention, and invaluable investor interest. Oh, and let’s not forget the bragging rights associated with winning a distracted cup.

Here is a quick run-down on how it all works. First and foremost: Attending and participating in Startup Battlefield is free – no fees, no equity deduction. The ClearTips editorial team reviews all applications and will technically select approximately 25 stand-up startups to participate in the top pitch competition.

The founders of the competition receive several weeks of intensive training with the startup Battlefield team – again at no expense. Your presentation skills, pitch and business model will be honored and burned to perfection. You will technically be ready to step on the world’s most famous stage.

You will meet a panel of judges consisting of prominent VCs and give six minutes of time for the pitch and demo. The judge will then put you through your paces with a Q&A. If you make the first cut, you will repeat the experience in round two with a new set of judges. Round three – aka the finalists – will have another set of judges listen to the pitches and then declare the startup Battlefield champion.

If you’re wondering how startup Battlefield plays as a virtual competition, here’s a perspective that Rachel Wilcox, a creative producer at Volvo Cars, shared with us after watching last year’s competition.

“Startup Battlefield easily translated to virtual format. You could see the enthusiasm, enthusiasm and potential of the young founders, and I loved it. You can also ask questions through the chat facility, and you don’t always have time for questions at a live event. “

The startup is another important aspect of competition in Battlefield. Each team gets a VIP experience in Discipline. What does it look like? Global exposure for starters – hungry for journalists to cover game-changing startups and VC eager to expand their portfolio with top talent.

Then there is free exhibition space on the virtual show floor, access to the CrunchMatch networking platform, free tickets for future TC events and a free membership for additional crunch. You will also receive invitations to private events – such as the Startup Battlefield Reception with members of Startup Battlefield Reception.

It is an influential group of 922 companies – including Vurb, Dropbox, Mint, Yammer and many others, which have collectively raised $ 9.5 billion and created 117 exits. This is a rare field and a major networking opportunity.

TC Discribe 2021 takes place on September 21–23, and there are two questions you need to ask yourself. Are you ready do you have what it takes? Then fine – apply to the startup battlefield and prepare your startup to take it to a new level of success. We can wait to bring you warmth!
