Actress Anushka Sharma on Sunday dropped a video to thank her fans for their birthday wishes. She said that she did not think it right to celebrate her birthday as India is facing a devastating Kovid-19 boom.

“Hi guys, I hope you are safe.” I just want to say a big thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes. It really made my day special. But amidst all this pain and suffering, I did not feel right celebrating my birthday, ”the actor said in the video.

She said that because many of her fans sent her special messages, she decided to share an important news story with her followers. He asked his fans to unite in support of the crisis and to support the country.

“I have seen your special messages to me and now, I have an important message for you. I would like to unite and support my country in this hour of crisis. Virat and I are coming together to do our bit. We will share details soon so that you too can be a part of this movement. Remember, we are in this together. India is currently facing the second wave of coronovirus epidemic. On Saturday, 392,488 new cases of coronovirus infection were detected in India, almost 9,500 fewer than the previous day’s tally 401,993, the highest spike in Kovid-19 cases in the country.

On the work front, Anushka’s production banner Clean Slate Films is producing Irrfan Khan’s son Babul’s debut film Kaala, which will be released on Netflix.
