Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund to release in June

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming sports film Jhund, which will be directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, which will hit theaters on June 18.

The film is Manjule’s Hindi directorial debut, best known for the Marathi blockbuster Sairat and the critically acclaimed 2013 drama Fandry.

The 78-year-old veteran star shared the film’s poster with her new release date on Twitter.

“COVID shocked us but now it’s time to return!” We are back in theaters. The herd released on June 18, “Bachchan tweeted.

The herd, supported by the T-series, features Bachchan as Vijay Barse, a retired sports teacher from Nagpur, who starts the slum football movement. The film was first to be released in September last year, but was pushed down due to a coronovirus epidemic.

Jhand is co-produced by Krishna Kumar, Raj Hiramath, Savita Raj Hiramath, Manjule in association with Tandava Films Entertainment and Etapat Productions.

Bachchan, who was last seen in Gulabo Sitabho, currently has three films for release, including the fantasy-adventure Brahmastra, Ajay Devgn’s May and the thriller Shehar.
