Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb to hit Disney Plus Hotstar on November 9

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar revealed on Wednesday that his upcoming horror-comedy Lakshmi Bombay will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on 9 November.
Akshay took to Twitter to announce the release date of the much-awaited remake of the 2011 Tamil hit Muni 2: Kanchan.
The actor also unveiled the teaser of Lakshmi Bomb, which first flashed the sentence “When Outcasts Get Outredded,”. A voiceover is heard saying, “Aaj se tera naam Laxman ho, Lakshmi ho,” as Akshay’s face is shown changing from a man to a woman.

The film, directed by Raghav Lawrence, features Akshay Kumar playing a transgender who has also influenced the original.
Lakshmi Bombay is produced by Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Shabina Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Fox Star Studios.
Written by Raghav Lawrence and Farhad Samji, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Laxmi Bomb returned to the horror-comedy genre of Akshay Kumar after 13 years. His last horror-comedy was Priyadarshan’s directorial Bhul Bhulaiyaa.
