Ajay Devgn sets up emergency Covid-19 facility at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan Kovid-19 is trying his best to help Mumbai in times of crisis. The Maidan actor and some of his colleagues have joined hands with Hinduja Hospital to set up an emergency facility at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

According to reports, BMC has converted a hall of Shivaji Park into a 20-bed Kovid-19 facility equipped with ventilators and oxygen support. Devgan, Anand Pandit, Boney Kapoor, Luv Ranjan, Sameer Nair and many others have also joined forces to contribute more than Rs 1 crore to BMC’s “Smiley Account”.

Shiv Sena corporator Vishaka Raut said, “It is great that Ajay Devgan supported BMC.”

The Tanhaji actor has contributed funds through his social service wing NY Foundation. COO Joy Chakraborty said, “This will be an extension of Hinduja Hospital.” The Foundation will also help with food and medicine.

In 2020, Ajay Devgan helped by donating ventilators in Dharavi, Mumbai as Kovid-19 badly hit the region.

On the work front, Ajay Maidan, RRR, Gangubai are all set for the release of Kathiawadi.
