Popular Kannada comedian Rockline Sudhakar died on Wednesday after a cardiac arrest. The 65-year-old actor was shooting for the upcoming film Sugarless when he fell on the set.

“Rockline Sudhakar, who impressed us with her unique voice and performance, has left. She was capped on the silver screen and died while she was still in makeup. Deepest condolences, ”said Pushkar Mallikarjunaiya, who controls Sugarless, starring debutant KM Shashida.

It is said that Sudhakar recently resumed shooting after recovering from COVID-19.

According to reports, when Sudhakar was getting makeup, she complained of discomfort and collapsed. He was taken to a private hospital nearby, where he was declared brought dead.

Members of the Kannada film fraternity have expressed their condolences on social media.

Sudhakar has been in the industry since the 1990s. He was a close associate of filmmaker Rockline Venkatesh. He worked as a production controller in several films produced by Rockline Entertainment. And it was for this reason that he earned the moniker Rockline Sudhakar.

Rockline Sudhakar made her acting debut in a small role in the 1992 film Belly Modagalu. She has acted in over 200 films in Kannada, including Pancharangi, Paramatham, Natak, Sri and Shrimati Ramshree, Love in Mandya and Vastu Prakashan.
