Prior to the release of The Big Bull, a fan had an important question to ask. On Monday, a Twitter user asked Abhishek Bachchan why he should watch The Big Bull when he has seen Hansal Mehta’s The Scam 1992. In response to the tweet, Abhishek, who never fails to impress his audience with his intellect, wrote, “I am in it” with a winking emoji.
Big Bull tells the story of a stockbroker named Hemant Shah and is inspired by the life of Harshad Mehta. When the film’s trailer was released, it drew a lot of comparison with Hansal Mehta’s acclaimed web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.

Earlier in an interview, Big Bull director Cookie Gulati called the comparisons “inappropriate”. He told PTI that he hopes that people will give me a chance, watch the film and realize that they are two completely different projects. I am hoping that we will have a series along with our film, but if anyone wants to compare then it is welcome. “
“Once you see the film, you will understand how to have a completely different perspective,” he said.
On Monday, the makers of the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer shared a video in which the actor spoke of portraying Hemant Shah’s character in The Big Bull.
Abhishek said that Hemant Shah is trying to get his life at first sight and is trying to achieve his dreams. “
The video also stars Ajay Devgn, producer of The Big Bull, who was praising for Abhishek. When we (Koki and myself) were casting for the film we both came up with Abhishek’s name and we both thought he would be perfect for the film. He is a brilliant actor, ”said Ajay.
Big Bull, which also stars Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta and Soham Shah, will begin streaming on Disney + Hotstar from 8 April.
